Description:
Team Black, you are the fourth party to leave today, you are expected to arrive at the gates and depart late this afternoon. The sky is a vividly orange colour, the rain that occurred earlier this morning has completely gone, though little puddles can still be seen about you and the grass is still lightly wet, the leaves of the surrounding trees also.
Along with the absence of rain, the breeze has softened to but a gentle whisper through the air, gently caressing the trees as they emanate a harmonious whistle. After several hours of dashing through the forest you’ll stumble upon a cliffside which has somewhat of a side-view of an actual castle building attached.
Though the structure is rather peculiar, 4 large vertically aligned doors, the first being the bottom floor with the fourth at the very top approximately 20 yards above. Each of the paths seemed to lead deeper into the cliffside, strangely enough; the large metal door at the bottom seemed to have scorch marks, evidently revealing that others have attempted to force the door open, yet to no avail.
Yet as you step forth, you’ll come to notice that the topmost door would exhume some laser-like mechanic which sought not to harm, but to rather detect whatever presence remained just outside the base, for the door would only open once a minimum of 4 people have been hit by the scan. Any attempts to avoid the scan would prove detrimental as the entrance would be delayed in opening, yet should it come in contact with the base minimum of 4 signatures, the top most door would seem to unlatch, smoke emitting from the door as a metallic staircase descends.
Upon entering through the door, the door would swing shut swiftly and anything caught within the middle would be crushed by the pressure of the 2 metallic doors, the door would only shut once everyone had entered. The interior of the cave would seem technologically advanced for this day and age and from the walls, to the roof and even the floor would be covered in purely metal, attached to the walls are and endless amounts of glass cases within each would seem to be an abomination of technology, failed robotic structures, each appearance varying from one another. With every step you’d feel the ominous sense that these robotic beings are staring up at you, though whenever you turned back they would seem deactivated and instilled as they were when you first entered.
Slight boxes separated 10 yards apart would prove to be your light source, which would glow every time a presence was sensed and deactivate once the 4 nearby presences have left, limiting your vision to only the objects in your immediate space.
