Upon the surface of a wide stream that spanned left and right in front of a waterfall that constantly fed it, there sat a young boy with his legs crossed in a meditative pose; hands on his knees and eyes closed. His breathing regulated with immense focus for one his age as he envisioned the chakra flowing through his body. “Like a river I must rush forth, unstopped, before finding my goal. Then like an ocean I must devour and conquer before laying to rest.” He continued to repeat these words as the water around him was raised up by his chakra flowing down from his body and into the surrounding liquid in a prodigal display of chakra control. It was only a small circle around him, however, that rose as a thin veil which spun around twice before falling apart; the start of a new technique perhaps, one known as the Water Colliding Wave, a high level A-ranked technique that was next to unheard of for a genin to lay hands on. But for Akira, it was the only next step he could possibly take on his way to accomplish what he had to. “Not vengeance. Justice.” And again he went back to repeating the earlier mantra. “Like a river I must rush forth, unstopped, before finding my goal. Then like an ocean I must devour and conquer before laying to rest.” All the while keeping his body afloat by manipulating the density of the water underneath him rather than using the simple academy technique of covering one’s feet with a layer of chakra. His hands, however, now clapped together as a thicker veil of water arose, but before it could even spin once it already dissipated. To control water in such an orthodox way required a high level of chakra manipulation but more than that it was very chakra taxing as well. The boy had a long way to go to build his stamina levels while learning the basics of the technique. If only there was someone who could help… but there hadn’t really been many noteworthy water users around. At least not any that Akira knew of….
Beautiful and lively, the beaming sunlight above-pass the trees allowed the shade to dance within the Aqualit orbs viewpoint—It felt so good, so grand, to be back within Konohagakure. Being newly appointed and addressed, a snowy-white haired girl named Kinshi became a Jōnin and became one of the youngest, and as her first goal as a Jōnin, she wanted to explore the few that may still be training within the grounds—She had ran a few files, or rather, as many as she possibly could've until someone stopped her or until she had tasks became ordered for her to do; thus she had gained quite a bit of insight on the newer genin, hopefully. As the fine breeze graced against her face and through her hair, tickling the flesh underneath her clothes, her heels planted firmly into the ground as she marched down a dirt path in a posture of pride and honor—Dancing in a river next to her path, the crystal blue water allowed a heavenly scent of purity to linger within the air, the air that held moisture that she could feel. The river had flowed in such a pattern of peace that is almost seemed motionless and not directly telling in which way it flowed, offering a solid mirror of the girl who walked along the path and she noticed, a ripple, a wave within the water that caused her right foot to cease mid-step—Did her eyes deceive? Without her head even looking toward the water, but peripheral vision she noticed the faint ripple and even a voice that held themselves calm—A boy, his voice was too soft to be a fully grown man, but she could've been wrong. Placing more speed within her step, she became in a hasty walk. Despite knowing of the waterfall, it would've been too abnormal with the peace within the water to cause such effect. Approching a waterfall, she held to the small bit of land she was allowed as she advanced, her black boots digging into the soft grassy moist ground below her. ‘White hair?’ she thought. As her eyes locked upon a boy sitting on the other side of the stream, she noticed how peaceful he looked, and instantly, he appeared almost as her when she was within the cave attempting to use her water release, to become better with it and intune with water. She even caught some of the things he was trying to use the water for, just barely however. He seemed familiar, was he one of the Genin she read about—Did she want to get his attention and break his peaceful state? Of course, she didn’t wish to do that, but maybe she could offer him some advice, she did have help with her water mastery and there wasn’t really many water release users in Konohagakure. “Excuse me?” She called out to him, her voice being soft and held completely friendly—Would he also know of her? It seemed upon her return alot more people addressed her relatingly to the Hokage, even her wish of luck as one of the youngest Jōnin.. So maybe.. The boy would’ve held about that and if he knew that much, he would’ve also known she used Water release, as that was her first element and an element she used quite a bit daily. As the rippling in the water danced, her reflection was unclear. Stepping closer to the water as if she was going to walk across it and to the boy, she simply paused before her boots touched it. “Do you have a moment?” She added.
He was one who usually kept to himself so when the very daughter of the Nidaime Hokage stood before him, he had no idea who she was and treated her like other non-adults, even though he could hear she was his senior, and continued his mantra for a good minute before opening his eyes to reveal two vibrant blues that gazed up at her. –White hair… like mine.- The damp locks of hair daintily framed his face as his young voice came to greet her, stern although immature, with the soft grace of a child. “What is it?” He stood up in front of her, being around the same height although he was two inches smaller and frowned a bit as he inspected her face. She had bit of a baby face like him although he was paler but the two could defiantly be mistaken for siblings. The soles of his feet then found themselves covered by a thin layer of chakra that kept him afloat, no longer taxing himself by means of manipulating the water below, not knowing exactly what the point of her arrival was. “Are you here to train or something?” He grumbled, and closed his eyes, and suddenly remembered a moment from the past. Over five years ago he had atop the gates while watching the Hokage and farewell party say goodbye to his daughter; young girl with white hair who, in Akira’s mind, wanted nothing more than to stay home. Even though she was a older he remembered wanting to save her, wanting to strike the Hokage right there and then, but it was like Ikeru knew what Akira thought as the Hokage had turned around and sent the boy cowering in fear with but one gaze. -Such power.- Akira could still remember it now as he looked back at the girl with a frown on his complexion. “You’re the Hokage’s daughter….”
How bizarre.. No. Interesting. As the boy-in-question turned his attention towards her, she noticed the color of his eyes and even his facial features.. Almost the male version of her—Hell, if it wasn’t confirmed she would almost believe they were related.. How old was he.. Compared to her? Stepping forward, like ribbons pure-white chakra laced around her feet as they graced the surface of the water, allowing her to stand and walk across the surface to the boy whom started to question her—Taking her time to examine the boy. ‘He reminds me.. Of me..?’ she thought. She got this awkward feeling from him, this feeling that made her think of him as someone related, she did enjoy helping those younger than her in a protective-sisterly way, but this felt a bit different and more than her feelings of sisterhood for her own clan—Not yet addressing his question about her here to train, she no doubt already showed the fact she stood interest in him, as her eyes scanned up and down the boy’s body. Looking towards his feet, her eyes instantly darted up in a stare to him.. As soon as he spoke about her being the Hokage’s daughter—She paused in a stand before him, being about three feet away from him. Her arms crossing over underneath her breats as she stood up straight. He was about the same height as her, just a bit smaller and parting her rosy pale-pink lips, she spoke “Aye. I am. But don’t treat me as such. I am a mere person like you, nothing special.” She said. Attempting to break the ice for the boy or atleast make a slight bond between them. “I am not suppose to be anywhere anytime soon, so how about I show you a fancy little water trick?” She added with an offer. Her lips’ corners lifting as she smile softly.. It was so weird to see her with a smile as her face was normally calm like the waters and shown to almost no true emotion. As she asked, the chakra around her feet around water to form in little strings that rose in a twist before diving back down into the water—It would be around ten of this ribbony strings rising about three inches around her and about five inches away from her feet. By using her connection to her element, she basically allowed her white chakra to emerge with the water and thus, wave in sequence to her mood—Which was rather content and cheerful, almost playful. This was all allowed by charka flow, it was most effective in a jutsu than by itself, but it always started in a raw form, thus like this.. Being formed into a jutsu by tense training. “I believe you are a rather strong ninja.. Who wishes to become the best they can be and beyond that, am I right?” She questioned.
“I never said you were.” Replied the white haired boy to her saying she was nothing special. Not as an insult, or perhaps it was, because even this focused youngster couldn’t forget what had happened in his past partially because of her family. But he didn’t show it, not again, as he instead bowed politely and leaned back upright without a frown; merely looking concentrated as he observed her and nodded to her offer. Even though he wasn’t one for tricks, preferring the practical side of things, he more than understood the amazing display of ingenuity and chakra manipulation that was involved in her show of skill. He felt himself bobbing up and down on the wave-like pattern that spread from under her feet and then closed his eyes, going back to that tranquil state, where his body and chakra became one with his mind, and he too released it through the soles of his feet; spawning small waves that resonated with those of the Jounin, making them grow ever so slightly which on its own was a hard feat for the Genin. He didn’t, however, accomplish it through chakra flow but rather though manipulating the surrounding water through his chakra. And then, like before, clapped his hands together again; now feeling more in tune with the surrounding water. Again a thin veil arose, this time around the both of them, reflecting the sunlight in a majestic display before it span around them beautifully and dispersed in drops that flew around and away. “Yes. You are right. I live to improve. Isn’t it the same for you?” Something about what he had done made him feel more in tune with the surrounding water. She way she flowed the chakra around her body was different from most. He had heard of Chakra Flow before but her application was different than using it in accordance with a weapon. “How exactly do you do that… And what is it… that you do.” He looked at her with a questioning gaze before smirking as he fell back on his butt, panting from the high degree of continuous chakra control that left him feeling depleted. While taking his break, he’d make sue to listen carefully to what she was saying. Slowly forgetting who she actually was due to his child-like sense of curiosity overwhelming the past feelings of anger.
Respectful it seemed, but something felt off.. This shady feeling that radiated off this boy, almost like a relation of a sharp pain or some feeling of dark hardship—Towards her tangered and damaged heart, she may have not found true peace, but her heart was not tainted and it was always open; the door may be closed, but it was never locked. “Of course. A wise amphibian once told me, what’s the point of having limits if you are not allowed to break them.” She said to the boy, hearing him out on what she was saying as he fell on his rear—It was true, Kinshi did do adnormal things with her chakra and her gifts, some saw it as a waste or useless, but even her father has admitted within the beauty of her usage, it is truly deadly. “When I first started to learn jutsu, when I first learned of my first nature—I never thought about weaponizing it. I never once thought about taking a life. I always thought of ways to save people, not just those of my village, but those who are too weak to save themselves from those who abuse. You understand this.. Don’t you? Walking over to the boy as she spoke, she leaned over with her hand extended to help him up off his rear, he seemed so curious and she felt the need to enlighten him—She spoke so tenderly, so softly and so peacefully.. The opposite of her normal-self, the self that had to hold the pride and stature of both her father and her clan. If he had grabbed her hand, she would’ve pulled him up and if he did not, she would’ve simply carried on with her lesson. “You see. Chakra flow as I use it, it a means for me to control my element in it’s raw form, thus allows me to learn things most can’t or couldn’t... If you let me. I will show you the truth of water. The ability to connect to this element as if it’s extention of yourself—Mind you, it may seem useless, but the truth is, it’s most deadly when those who hold the kindest hearts and wish to protect.” She added. Upon the boy standing up, she’d allow her chakra flow to extend out to him, being about less than a foot away and within ‘personal space’ to allow the water to act as solid ground for him to state—It was bit pricey in chakra, but it almost didn’t faze her. “Also. Enlight me. What were you trying to learn?” She wondered, looking to him in a bit of curiousity. As she took a close look at him, he seemed a bit tired “Actually, you seemed a bit tired. Would you rather eat? I have a home-made rice roll with honey filling in my pouch, would you like it?” She added. Being completely kind to him, it almost seemed like her true nature behind the light she was held under, whcih is was—She almost formed, or started like this boy.
He understood her more than one should at his age. Although one question forever burned in his mind as he politely declined her hand and got up by himself. –In the end it’s still the same. We must take lives to save them. So won’t that just keep the hate alive?- Now standing up, his breathing calmed down as he listened to her angelic voice that was ever caressing and soothing. –In the end we’re all just saving ourselves.- He thought, as the bitter taste of reality broke the ‘spell’ she put the young one under for a moment. –Back to business.- As she began to explain about chakra flow and how she used it to perform unique feats, saying It stems from ones desire to protect and the kind of heart one holds. Being a practical thinker, and a child who deemed himself correct a little too often, he quickly dismissed the notions of emotions being involved and instead listened to the facts in what she said. And then it all made sense. Natural water, was, in essence, still an ‘object’ due to it being a material that’s perceptible by multiple senses; most importantly touch. This meant that through chakra flow, one could actually use water as a tool to in various ways. And he then experienced it first hand when he was raised above the surface of water by a platform of the liquid that acted as solid ground in the shape of a disk that carried his weight. “I know of a technique that is similar. Although with this technique I manipulate the shape of a specific puddle of water made of my chakra. Wouldn’t I be able to increase its effects through chakra flow? It’s called the Water Weapons Technique” He then cupped his hands together after which a small puddle of bright blue water was created inside his hands; produced from his very own chakra. He then envisioned his favorite weapon, a shortbow, at which the puddle of water reshaped into a shortbow in his left hand that acted as a solid while looking like a liquid. In his right hand he held an arrow which he strung onto the translucent string of water, pulling back as he closed one eye and peered past his extended right arm while aiming up. The arrowhead was sharp and acted like that of a normal arrow in terms of damage, dense enough to pierce skin and tissue, and most accurate as seen when it was released and whistled through the air at high speed before shooting through a fish that was fell down from the top of the waterfall. Causing it to land dead on the water disk Akira stood on, after which the arrow dissolved back to water and he formed a new one in his right hand. “Now we have something to eat before the sweets.” He smiled a little as he had a weakness to people offering him food and helping him out. He didn’t admit it to himself but it showed in his eyes as he had opened up about his technique and asked for her advice; he was starting to like her too. But that didn’t mean he was any less a cocky, and serious, boy as seen when he asked her to “Please prepare that.” ‘fish’ While. “I train some more.” Which he did as he jumped back onto the stream and summoned another veil of it around him, a little thicker than before but till not even an inch, and nowhere near the final technique; rising up from the surface, making it spin a few times before it dissipated again.
Ah. Water weapons technique, she knew about that however she did not require it, though.. Now taht she thought about it would go hand in hand with ‘Chakra flow’—Moving away from the boy a bit as he stood up, she gave him a bit of space, which was personal space. “Improved chakra control is improved chakra flow—Thus, improved weaponary and more insured success. The answer is a simple yes.” She said as she witnessed the boy do this own little thing—Noting his ability and control over water release, which she’ll need in a means to help him later. ‘Mm.. The cave would be perfect for him.. Hanzaki shouldn’t mind’ she thought. The cave of Hanzaki allowed training in water better than anything within Konohagakure, such as training there allowed a better set of mind that changed to a combat view or just a mellow view—Even allowed chakra to be recovered by simply sitting in the water, Hanzaki was such a good creature.. Even though he rarely showed themself, only to her really and maybe.. Hell, he refused to show himself to Zashin for many years.. She could allow the boy to see him, after all, he reminded her of herself a bit. As the boy picked off the fish in the waterfall, she was rather impressed. ‘He has fine control and with the right training, he could be quite deadly..’... He wasn’t completely molded out into something of special, but he had quite a few gifts and could be molded into something great, atleast, she thought that. As she made her way to the fish, the boy wanted to train some more and couldn’t find herself to pull him away from it, unlike her father, she was bit more tender to the children and could be quite serious when needed. In this case, she found herself just feeling around for the boy in personality and mindset and not only the case, it seemed a bit overbaring to force someone in hardship like herself without consent to do so. As she grabbed the fish, she casually walked to the main area which was the opposite of the way she formerly appeared on—An open dirt ground where a pit was, many ashes laid here as it was used for many campfires before, atleast, it appeared to be so. Being about fifteen feet from the boy, she found herself thinking about the cave and she may have been a bit soft, but noone else was going to catch him anything and she was a Jounin now. “When I was younger, noone within the village was able to teach me the things I needed.. But. I found a cave or rather, I was summoned to this cave which is a special place that is for a person like me.. Solely me actually. What I am saying is. You should visit it with me sometime. If you don’t have a problem with salamanders *whisper*Or their unholy facepalms*whisper*.” She said as she crouched to the ground, her right hand reaching as her palm tapped against the ashes, caushing veins and wood to grown just a small bit, it took about a ten to fifteen seconds, if not a bit longer, but it grew about six inches high. She than reached into her pouch for a match box and a senbon, which she grabbed both—Stabbing the senbon through the fish, she than stabbed the other end into a stick and placed it over the pit. Lighting the match, she tossed in and allowed the fire to burn slowly, as she lightly flow into it—“Also. I never got his name” She mumbled and she couldn’t recall reading anything about him.
After a few more attempts at the A-rank technique the young boy had enough for the day. By now completely drenched from tip to toe, he ran his hand back through his hair and looked up at the sky with his big blue eyes. A quasi-large circle of water fell down in the air directly around him and splashed onto the water as he had gotten another small step closer to learning the technique. But it had become very evident to Akira that he had to train his stamina, and his body, in order to become strong enough to achieve what he wished to do; to summon forth a huge body of water using his own charka, something which the First Hokage was famous for. Surprisingly, the boy was already capable of summoning a shark made of water from his own chakra, an extraordinary feat, but this he kept for himself for now as he walked over to the Hokage’s Daughter. He didn’t seem bothered in the slightest even though his clothes were soaked and sat down by the fire in a crouched position, just in time to overhear her saying she didn’t know his name. “It’s Akira.” Replied the boy who stared into the flames while hearing his stomach rumble. He was hungry. But tried to hide it as he patiently waited, being quite the mature child. His manners were taught by his late adoptive parents who, like the roasting fish, had perished from life. “Thank you.” He’s say, remembering those lessons of old that sometimes made him look like a noble, or old soul even with the childish tendencies that sometimes broke through. “I’d be honored to visit the cave. But perhaps.” He smirked and looked at her while using the transformation technique to increase the size of his head by tenfold but without any eyebrows and a perverted expression; hair gelled back a la italiano. “You should at least introduce yourself as well before inviting young boys to a cave.”
Two.. Or was it three? That had to be taxing for the boy, it was impressive by far—Even if she did more attempts than that when she was younger, but she was on a death-quest so it was different, nothing was ever good enough for her and often caused her to grace death. Keeping her attention on the food she cooked, she also kept an eye every so often on the boy to make sure everything went smoothly, maybe that was just her protective and caring nature. Casually flipping the fish to make sure it cooked evenly, it felt so weird to cook for another person after it being so long, did she even know how to cook? Of course she did, even being a ninja never worked out, she could be a chef with no problems and a damn good one, but, she rarely cooked for anyone but herself, often she made sandwiches and tea for her father, even some clanmates, but never truly cooked for another. As she heard the fall of pounds of water, she looked over to notice the boy done with his training as the food was almost done, just needed a few more seconds—“Intelligent or bright.. Maybe clear..” She mumbled lower as she heard his name ‘Akira’, which could mean anything from bright to clear, based on how it is written, or maybe she was wrong all together. Akira had made a good impression, he seemed humble and respectable, not just some child, but as a person, he seemed really sweet, however serious and composed like herself.. But.. Also sad or angry at something, something emotional behind his serious manner, but it would be too rude to ask, even if she found herself caring—His thanks to her made her more curious about him, and his past, she felt like something bad happened to him and he was suffering about something. As he spoke about the idea of visiting the cave, she found something about to tug on a nerve, she almost felt like she was talking to Zeshin when he was within his foolishness—As her head turned to stare upward to Akira, she noticed his transformation. ‘What a goof ball’ she thought. Shaking her head, her eyes closing with a soft smile, a happy smile, a smile she almost never had or was never able to show—Truly, she did feel rather cheerful talking to someone, without her duties being stuffed down her throat. “How rude of me. My name is Kinshi. Kinshi of the Senju clan. Nice to meet you. Also. You are going to get sick. ” She said, being both soft spoken and serious near the end, she lifted her palms to the boy, as her chakra laced around her arms in a white flame—Being an inch or five away from his clothes, or rather his body, she used as much chakra as she needed to draw the water from his clothes. Once exiting his clothes, they would be left completely and uderly dry and clean, once the water was out, it would simply form a massive bubble, which would be held to her left by her left hand only, as her right hand reached toward the fire to grab his fish on a stick. Taking her hand over to the stick, the stick acted as a mutten to cease any burning the senbon would give off, just a minor bit of heat—She offered it to Akira, as her left hand dropped the water on the fire. It was quite impressive, and quite simple, though, quite difficult without good training, but she was skilled just enough to do it. Akira simply asked as an easier means of putting out the fire, and hopefully, the fish would be good enough as a reward, even though she refused to each anything, she was even hungry and she offered. “You know. I’m sure your parents would be proud of you, for your age, you are doing some impressive things, Akira.” She said. Not knowing anything really about him, not even about if he knew or had any parents, so she kinda assumed.
As the transformation had faded from sight again, the boy was back to his serious self and bowed his head while taking the fish from her. –Kinshi.- He thought about the name for a while, never having heard it before, and dug his teeth into the fish before realizing that he only caught one. Carefully pulling his teeth from the tasty fish, he left a small bite-mark and tore the fish in half down the center; handing her the unbitten side. He did so without making eye-contact and immediately went back to eating. Luckily the fish was quite thick and left the boy more than satisfied after he took a while to finish it all. At one point he wondered if he shouldn’t just throw some away but scowled at himself for thinking something so stupid. –Such waste can never be allowed.- But then he was seen picking his teeth with a fishbone only about five minutes later. Leaning back on the grass he sighed and closed his eyes for a while. He had thought about the honey snack, the cave, the salamander, and then the tiredness took over as he fell asleep. For an hour, maybe two, after which he’d wake up and walk on home unless she was still there. In which case, for some reason, he just kept on sleeping.
He must’ve been tired, no. He looked exhausted as he laid upon the tall grass—With such exhaustion, atleast he was full, no doubt he ate well, that was quite a decent sized fish for a small stomach like his. She thought about it just a bit, as her eyes looked towards the sky, being so clear and beautiful out and it was quite an interesting day for her—Quite glad the politics won’t bother her for atleast a few more days until she fully settles into Konohagakure. As she waited a few moments, she allowed the minutes to pass until she thought Akira had fully fell asleep so she could move him without waking him. Getting up slowly, patting herself down and removing the dirt as quietly as she could, she moved over to Akira to pick him up—One arm moving towards his upper back and another towards his legs, just enough to pick him up and place him on her back so his forehead rested on her shoulder with ease, she was rather strong, or adnormally strong so this was beyond easy for her in terms of strength, but harder because she was trying not to wake him, he was sound across and her movements were close. It was getting rather late, and she didn’t want to leave him out here by himself, though she didn’t know where he lived... She’d just take to her house and let him rest there. As he placed on her back with the utmost care and tenderness, she simply walked away with him on her back firmly—Ending his day of training. She marched simply to her house back within the heart of the city, which was sadly where her father lived.
